Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be among the top athletes. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at the age of six when she took a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman as coach until the year 2011. Biles won a gold medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began participating in the elite level of competition. Two years after that Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed in each of the four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
