Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. There are more than 20 albums that were released by her. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock and alternative. But it contains influences such as hip-hop, punk and jazz. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as the feminist's icon and Grammy-winning artist is considered to be the first pioneer of DIY music. She was one of the very first musicians to start the label she created in the year 90. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The parents of her mother and father were both from Montreal descent. Ani diFranco was the composer and singer of the track 32 Flavors. The track was first released on her 1995 sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl. One version of this song is featured on the film Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate.
