Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Also, she has one younger sister, currently employed as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born as a child in Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After graduation, he studied at Women's Christian College. Andrea, who began classes in classical piano when she was eight, has been described as an "geek" and aspired to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This group formed the foundation for her music and singing career. In her college she also was performing as a theatre artist in stage productions that were put on by The Madras Players. Andrea was head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started performing as an infant actor acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the 2006 leo coffee commercial alongside Shiva. She also acted in an episode that was retransmitted on Podhigai channel. She has performed all over India. She was in a small role during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005).
