Sharp was born at home in Rochester (New York) and was a fervent student of the world of music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she took classes in cello, clarinet and piano. The Boston Conservatory offered her grants for her theatre program at the school. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida. Other performances included: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp's talents are not restricted to stage or screen. She has also written and written several scripts. Apart from singing, Sharp is working on an album. Sharp enjoys staying fit and is always in good condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp resides with her family, including her husband and lives in Los Angeles.
